Lucie graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University. She also studied human rights and democratization at the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC) in Venice and the Université de Strasbourg. She was an intern at the UN European Court of Human Rights and the Public Defender of Rights. Currently she works at the Supreme administrative court as an assistant to a judge. She is interested in the European system of protecting human rights, particularly the prohibition of wrongful treatment, positive duties of states and compensation.

Dagmar graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno and holds an LL.M. degree in Public International Law from the University of Oslo. She currently works for a Norwegian humanitarian organization in the field of demining and disarmament, where she focuses mainly on Afghanistan and Tajikistan. She is also interested in international humanitarian law,  international criminal law and the protection of human rights.
