Anna is a fourth year student at the Faculty of Law of Charles University. She did an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at one of Prague’s District Courts. She works in a law firm focused on financial law.

Martin is a second year student at the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno. He is particularly interested in the issue of freedom of expression, which he also studied during his internship at the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. In his spare time, he likes to clear his head up with sports, an interesting book or a good cup of coffee.

Hani studies Law at Palacký University Olomouc. Aside from studying, she co-organizes a competition called Human Rights Olympiad and volunteers in the Czech Debate Association. Out of all human rights, she is most interested in the freedom of expression and children’s rights.

Johana is a third year law student at Charles University. She is mainly interested in European law and criminal law. During her studies, Johana completed an internship at the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic and currently works at a law firm.

Alexandra is a graduate of the Bachelor's program in European Law at Maastricht University. She completed an internship at Transparency International and currently works as a paralegal at a law firm. She is interested in global justice, gender equality, and minority rights.

Jan was the head of the Czech Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in 2018-2023. He has a PhD in international law, and an E.MA degree in human rights from Venice and Graz. He worked in a law firm, as well as in the Legal Affairs Division of the European External Action Service in Brussels. He later worked as a Visiting Professional in Chambers of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, and subsequently as a lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. In the Czech Republic, he worked at the Office of the Public Defender of Rights and at the Institute of International Relations in Prague. He currently teaches at Masaryk University and works in research. He specializes mainly in international law and human rights.

Fundraiser

Dominika graduated in Law from Masaryk University in Brno. She also obtained an LL.M degree in European Human Rights from ELTE University. During her studies, she worked in law firms where she specialized in family law and consumer protection. She currently works as a judge's assistant at the Supreme Administrative Court. She is interested in the protection of children's rights and asylum law.

Head of section International Criminal Justice

Nikola is currently working in the Office of the Government Commissioner for the representation of the Czech Republic before the European Court of Human Rights, but she also has experience from law firms. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. She has previously volunteered for Amnesty International and worked as an intern at a non-profit organization focusing on refugee and asylum law. 

Jakub is currently a student of Law and legal studies course and also of International-law trade studies course at Masaryk university. He is interested in public law. He enjoys recreational sports, cooking and he is a passionate drinker of tea.
