In March this year, the international Horizon project, supported by the European Union, was launched with the participation of over ten universities from European and non-European countries.

The three-year project is entitled States' practice of human rights justification: study in civil society engagement and human rights through the lens of gender and intersectionality. Jan Lhotský is a member of the team that will focus on climate change and human rights and related litigation. The project will result in a series of outputs including expert events, articles and recommendations for the European Union.
