Činnost Centra pro lidská práva a demokracii zajišťuje tým odborníků, kteří působí v akademických, justičních a dalších institucích v rámci ČR. Těmito oblastmi jsou mezinárodní trestní spravedlnost, evropský systém ochrany lidských práv, mezinárodní politika a lidská práva a také Česká republika a lidská práva.
