Centrum pro lidská práva a demokracii pořádá tematické kulaté stoly, konference, přednášky, filmová promítání, semináře i studentské soutěže. Na události zve odborníky z České republiky i zahraničí. Pravidelně se podílí například na akci Jessup Moot Court, tedy mezinárodním cvičném soudním líčení pro univerzitní studenty z celého světa.

Understanding the Syrian Conflict

will take place.

Ibrahim Fayad, a Syrian national who come from an area which was one of the most affected by the conflict and who currently studies political science at the Faculty of social science in Brno will talk about the conflict, its past, present and future.

Issues discussed will include: the role of international actors in the conflict (Iran, Russia, USA, Arab countries), the role of ethnic groups or religion.
